Strasbourg, France (am)

Strasbourg is such a beautiful city. Because the old town is on an island and surrounded by water, there was a lot of humidity in the air which made for some frigid temperatures. Normally I'm the only one in our family that seems to mind the cold, but as the day wore on and Henry's hands were nearly suffering from frostbite (it's not my fault he won't keep gloves on), even Alex finally had to admit that yes, it was cold outside.

A view of the city

Alex, Ruby and Pete

Alex and Ruby checking out a nativity scene.
You can see that at 8:30 in the morning we were the only ones out and about.
A daytime picture of the cathedral

It was massive.
Check out the specs of Alex and Ruby in front of it.
It was beautiful inside as well but of course photography wasn't allowed.

The Christmas markets didn't open up until 10am,
so we ducked into this little creperie to have some breakfast.

Merry Christmas from France!
