Rain, rain go away

We haven't visited many places this last month mostly due to the rain. Since Pete's birthday (May 10th), it has rained almost everyday. The kids loved putting on their raincoats and boots at first, but now it is getting a little old for everyone. Here's the crazy part: it is gray and rainy all day long, then, right around 7 pm, the clouds break and it is bright and sunny-just in time for the kids to go to bed. The other night Alex said to me, "Mom, I don't understand why we go to bed when the sun comes up." Me neither Alex.
These are just a couple of pictures out our kitchen window. It's hard to see, but it was raining pretty hard in the top picture which was taken around lunchtime. The bottom picture was taken about 7 pm. Hmmmm.....
