City #4

Instead of staying in one of the more crowded cities we stayed in Leiden, which was sort of in the middle of all of our destinations...not to mention cheaper. I had no idea how expensive things were in the Netherlands. Leiden was a really beautiful city and we had fun walking around one evening looking for somewhere to eat dinner.

Pete was lucky enough to try his hand one more time at parallel-parking canal side
This picture may not seem too interesting...
...until you see how narrow this house really is
I was surprised how many cities in Holland are filled with canals...
...and windmills
Pete and the kids on one of the main streets of Leiden

Our hotel had a great indoor pool which may have interested the kids more than sightseeing
3 kids who are in need of a little sunshine

When I saw this picture I realized that Henry has grown up so much.
He definitely has the body of a little boy more than a baby.
Pete's genes have definitely ruled over mine
The hotel also had a really fun game room.
If the kids weren't asking to go to the pool, they were asking to play in here.
I honestly think they would have been completely satisfied with our trip if we would have camped out in the hotel for three days straight.

Henry loved the "germ" balls as they're called in my family
