Finishing off Holland

Our final stop in the Netherlands was the capital, Amsterdam. It was a lot more crowded than our previous stops and it was here that the rain we had been eluding finally caught up with us.

If I remember my boat guide correctly, there are over 1,000 canals in Amsterdam, more than Venice!
Westerkerk, in the background, has the tallest steeple in Amsterdam and is the church where Rembrandt is buried.
Enjoying some more yummy fries and grape Fanta in front of the Anne Frank house.
Like in Haarlem, we never made it inside because the online tickets were sold out and as you can see the lines were LONG.
When the rain started, we hopped on one of these canal buses to take a closer look at the city without getting soaking wet.
