We stayed at a bed and breakfast run by Susi and Fritz. The hotel was opened by Fritz's grandfather in 1906. I guess you could say it's sort of like the Lodge....but family friendly and minus the Indian rugs. On the other hand, they have an enormous alpenhorn in the lobby. If you're not sure what this is, follow the link: http://www.ricolausa.com/home/. For breakfast, Pete and I dined on croissants and local cheeses, while the kids enjoyed Sugar Smacks. Ruby had never had this before and so now she believes that it is Interlaken cereal.

Pete reading at bedtime. (Note to Susan:Your book made it to Interlaken)

All five of us were able to stay in one room. There were two twin beds pushed together (see above) and a couch bed that opened up into two twins as well. Henry had the privelege of sleeping in a pack-and-play in the bathroom. This made our bedtime routine very interesting. Since Henry went to bed before the rest of us, the bathroom was off limits around 6:30 or 7pm. this meant that in order to brush teeth and go to the bathroom before bed, we would go down to the lobby and use the public bathroom. Fun!

What would a family trip be without Uno?
