Red, white and blue

For the 4th of July, we got together with friends from church to celebrate. The party was at a park in Versoix right next to the lake. Pete grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for our family and we enjoyed a pot luck of yummy American foods-complete with jello and cowboy beans.

The evening was complete with some games for the kids.

Alex and Ethan perfected the hopping technique. Ruby and Claire came in 2nd place in the first race, but had a little bit more trouble the 2nd time around.

Pete was so proud of Ruby. Although she finished last, she never went down on her stomach once. Alex tried to give Pete a hand....but finally gave up.
