Late one Saturday afternoon in November, we dropped our kids off at a friend's house and took Caroline into Geneva. Unfortunately it was freezing and rained a lot of the time but we couldn't send her home without showing her around the city. Pete was our tour guide and amazed even me with the information he has acquired about the history of Geneva.

After we picked up our kids, we headed to the Cafe du Soleil. It is one of the oldest fondue places in the city (400+ years) and the fondue there is the real deal. It was Caroline and Alex's first time sampling cheese fondue and they were not fans. Luckily there was other yummy food, complete with moelleux (a chocolate lava cake) and ice cream for dessert. Allison-think baby cakes-YUM!
