We were really excited to see all of our family back in the States, but it was especially good to see Mama Linda and Papa John (my parents). They returned from a mission in the Philippines in April and it had been almost 2 years since we had been with them. Henry was a little shy at first (he was only 4 months when they left) but loved showing off for them in the end. The other two kids picked up right where they left off, especially Ruby.

We walked around Temple Square with my parents and showed the kids the inside of the Tabernacle and both Visitor Centers
When the kids posed in front of the Christus, other people started taking pictures of them. Then they asked if they could be in pictures with them. It was a little strange and I felt like we were back in Europe. Ruby didn't mind posing with perfect strangers but Henry just wanted his mom.
