Although we had a fun time last year on the fourth, we really missed the fireworks and other festivities. This year, we were in the US for the fourth but the kids were so tired from jetlag that they couldn't stay up for the fireworks. Luckily, Pete's dad had stocked up and we had a great time a couple nights later.
