Important tip: Attending back-to-back family reunions is not the best way to recover from jet lag and a 12 hour trans-Atlantic flight... but it sure was fun.

Barely able to catch our breath after the Clayton family reunion, we headed down to the ranch in Southern Utah to connect with my family. While the fun continued with a new set of cousins, the scenery was breathtaking.

Reconnecting with best buddies
Alex and Tommy (8 weeks apart in age)
Ruby and Margaux (4 weeks apart in age)

Henry and Bea are also 4 weeks apart in age and look like they could be twins

Enjoying the hot tub
Well exceeding the maximum limit of people for one tub

I think by the end there were over 20 kids in the hot tub

A friendly game of wiffle ball
My sil, Jana, came up with the idea to use kiddie pools for bases and a slip and slide for getting to home plate. Here the kids are watching Uncle Philly prepare second base.
Charlie explaining the rules of the game to the cousins

The cheering section: Papa John and Mama Linda

I don't see how you could have a better summer vacation. It had all the components of a perfect time. Glad that we could share a small part of it.
