October is one of my favorite months to go to Disneyland. The park is decorated for Halloween, the weather is perfect and the lines are short. Maybe it's because it's been awhile since our last trip, but we had an amazing time. Pete's parents flew down from Utah to spend time with us and we had a lot of fun with them. The kids were so great....I'm not sure if it's because they were still so tired and didn't have the energy to complain or if they were really appreciating the "prize" they had been working toward for the past month.
During the month of September they received a sticker everytime they went to school without crying or fighting. If they earned 20 stickers then they knew we would be taking them to Disneyland. If they earned an extra 5 stickers then they would get to choose a prize from Disneyland--something they rarely, if ever get to do. I mean really, who needs to spend $10 on a Mickey Mouse pen?
