Nuremberg, Germany

Although I can't say that Nuremberg was our favorite Christmas market, it was definitely the biggest and felt just like I had imagined a Christmas market would be. I think the kids were a little burnt out by this point walking up and down rows of stalls filled with pretty much the same things over and over. But they did remarkably well and were satisfied with ANOTHER meal at McDonald's. If I never eat at McDonald's again it will be too soon.

You can see that we literally wore Henry out.
I'm still not sure how he slept through the craziness of the market.
It was 2 days before Christmas and you can imagine how many people there were as the day wore on. At noon, the bells started to ring and the 12 apostles came out and circled the bell tower.
It was funny to see masses of people looking up towards the sky.
We all had our first sample of bratwurst (ok it was Pete's second time).
In Nuremberg they are know for their pinkie-sized sausages and they put them in baguettes three at a time.
Ruby LOVED it and ate the sausages out of 2!
