Before Christmas, we took a trip to visit several Christmas markets. Our first stop was in Strasbourg, which is the biggest Christmas market in France. Each of the markets we visited had a different feel and in Strasbourg, we loved how the city was decorated and lit up at night. The pictures really don't do it justice.

The main streets were cobblestone and we walked under a canopy of lights for almost a mile.

Closer to the cathedral in the center of town, the lights changed.
I loved the giant stars that hung across the street especially in contrast to the wooden buildings of the 15th and 16th centuries.
